Many people naturally assume that taking an intensive course of say one week is the quickest way of passing your test – it isn’t and in fact it can take longer than taking our 6 to 9 week course. The reason is that you clearly want a Driving Test at the end of your course, and as you cannot book that test until you have passed your theory test. You can still book the course and your instructor will work with you. Only when you have your pass certificate can you book the test – which is usually a 6-8 weeks waiting time. So it usually takes a minimum of 8-10 weeks. We do not book the theory or driving test and is not included in the price of the intensive course.
- However if it is speed that you are interested in!
- Book a your theory test online and start studying.
- If you have done your theory test and passed then you can book your practical driving test. Please note that your instructor may ask you to change your test if you are not ready.
- Start taking any and all available driving lessons ASAP!
- Remember everyone is different in their learning ability, the sooner you start studying and having driving lessons, the both combined help with your learning process.
- It is possible to pass within 2 – 3 weeks:
- If you still like the idea of a course then read on – as we have intensive courses and structured courses normally 5 to 6 hours per day and can be run over 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 days.
- The 7 day course is over two weeks starts Monday finishes the week after.
- The drawbacks of this type of course are:
- If you feel ill or unwell we cannot rearrange the course because the instructor has committed that time to you and we won’t be able to arrange other week at such short notice. Hour for hour you will probably not learn as much as you would in a series of normal lessons. During any series of lessons you will find that on some lessons you progress more and on others less so. This is natural – but just think how you would feel on day the before your test if you suddenly started making a mess of things. You have no time left to recover your confidence. Our preference is for the less pressured courses:
6 week course
A course of 2-3 lessons per week over a period of 6-9 weeks (depending on the test waiting times in your area). You should book your theory test before you start, so that you are studying alongside taking driving lessons. This course can be designed as a beginner´s course but we do recommend booking an assessment lesson first to get an accurate idea of how many lessons you will actually need.
The course cost includes:
Only the cost of the lessons. Not the price of theory test or practical test!!!
10, 15, 20 or 25 hour courses
Lesson packages that are usually 2 lessons per day leading up to a test. The choice of which package is correct for you is taken with the instructor after an assessment lesson. This course includes the hours as selected.
If you have no experience at all then we recommend you have a few driving lessons before starting your course. Courses do not have to be taken within a week period. The days can be taken to suit you.
